The Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge, USA) postgraduate students Daniel Forestieri and Flávia Agostinho are observing plant tissue and soil analyses at the laboratories located at Embrapa Soils (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), on November 21 and 22.

The duo, who are taking a Master's degree (Daniel) and a PhD (Flávia) in soil fertility, is in Brazil thanks to a program promoted by the state of Louisiana.

Brazilian Flávia and Ecuadorian Daniel will also visit sugarcane mills and fertilizer factories in Guaíra, São Paulo, and Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
