Canadian delegation discusses research partnerships at Embrapa Wheat

Group of researchers has met for two days at Embrapa Wheat.
A delegation of Canadian scientists has been to Embrapa Wheat (Passo Fundo, RS), on December 7 - 8, for the Canada-Brazil Workshop on Cereals. The meeting aimed at bringing researchers closer and establishing technical-scientific cooperation between both countries.
The areas of interest for cooperation in research on winter crops include breeding and genetic improvement, resistance to diseases in cereals and canola, genomics and molecular mapping, mycotoxins, technological and nutritional quality.
The meeting was promoted by Embrapa and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
