Technology Transfer to Agricultural and Agribusiness Projects via Business Incubation
Technology Transfer to Agricultural and Agribusiness Projects via Business Incubation
This project aims to give Oriental Amazon Embrapa structure and channels for technology transfers that intend to develop agricultural and agro-industrial ventures by means of incubation of technology-based businesses, and focusing on meliponiculture, fruit derivatives, medicinal plant products and bio-jewelry. Technology transfers encourage economical and social development of entire regions, and that is one of the challenges faced by the Institutions of Research, Development and Innovation such as Embrapa. Hence, to reach entrepreneurs, incubator business and the general society, it's necessary to define an adequate method to promote success in the proposed ventures. Systematized action plans made through organization of technology information (with the intent to subsidize the entrepreneurial process, the selection and training of at least 20 entrepreneurs in partnership with incubator businesses), will be oriented by multi-institutional management collegiates, a group formed solely to manage the project, using selected technologies to put in action the disclosure of communication initiatives for the projects and their findings. The results will be monitored by means of economical, environmental and managerial markers of the ventures obtained throughout the project's execution.
