The research proposes the use of the liquid stream of the autohydrolysis, using in the process of biodigestion, for the generation of biogas and destination of the solid stream of the organosolv process, rich in cellulose, for the process of simultaneous saccharification and fermentation, aiming at obtaining ethanol from second generation. The project also seeks to qualify the lignin obtained in the autohydrolysis and organosolv processes, aiming, in the future, to direct it to other applications, in addition to obtaining a better characterization of the components present in the liquid fraction resulting from the autohydrolysis.
