Utilization of bovine manure in biodigestion systems in properties of small producers in the region of Luziânia (GO)

The process of producing biogas, a mixture of gases obtained by the anaerobic digestion of organic material, occurs naturally in ecosystems such as landfills and swamps. Biogas can also be obtained in systems called biodigesters, with parameters monitored and adjusted to increase productivity. The project evaluated three properties of small producers, members of an agricultural cooperative, with the objective of dimensioning systems for the production of biogas to replace cooking gas and firewood, in addition to analyzing the digestate (obtained after the anaerobic digestion process) as fertilizer, using bovine manure as substrate. The cooperative intends to adopt the properties as a model for replicating the project.
