Abrstract: Extract hydroalcoholic of leaf and stem from bitter gourd and a fungicide with the principles thiophanate methyl + fluazinam were tested in the treatment of bean seed against Sclerotinia sclerotiorum. Research for search new principles to fungus control is necessary. After application of the products, the bean seeds IAC Alvorada were inoculated with the fungus. The control was seeds inoculated and without products. The seeds were kept in DBO at 20°C in the dark for 21 days with high relative humidity. Like, the essay was a randomized with four treatments, two times of storage of the products (zero and after three months) and eight replications. The parameters evaluated were the percentage of germinated seeds and control of the fungus. As for the storage of the products, the zero time was better than three months. In the average of the times and of the parameters, the best treatments were the fungicide and the extract of stem from bitter gourd.
