Summary: A sigatoka negra é uma doença da cultura da banana causada por Mycosphaerella fijiensis. É responsável por muitos prejuízos na produção da fruta, devido a sua grande agressividade e rápida disseminação, atingindo severamente a área foliar da cultura e afetando o sistema fisiológico da planta. O trabalho teve por objetivo avaliar as características vegetativas de bananeira comprida sob controle químico da sigatoka negra.
