Summary: Piper aduncum L. (Piperaceae) é uma espécie abundante no estado do Acre sendo seu óleo essencial, rico em dillapiol, relatado como inseticida botânico. Este trabalho objetivou a avaliação da toxicidade do óleo essencial desta piperácea (OEPA), contendo diferentes concentrações de dillapiol, no controle da Spodoptera Frugiperda (J. E. Smith, 1797).
