Summary: This paper uses the Law of Categorical Judgments to rank events of importance for the Brazilian agricultural sector as well as the level of public policies carried out by the government to miligate their effects, according to the perceptions of 502 sector specialist. Statistical results point to infrastructure and logistics as the most important factors with lowest level of public policies in place.
