A concentração máxima encontrada, considerando as três matérias-primas avaliadas foi 6,4 ppb (aflatoxinas), 1,89 ppm (fumonisinas), 3 ppb (ocratoxina), 1,54 ppm (zearalenona), 5,56 ppm (deoxinivalenol) e 145 ppb (toxina T2). Abstract: Wheat and soybean meal, as well as sorghum are important ingredients used in poultry and swine diets. Due to favorable conditions during production, harvesting, processing and storage, the possibility of mycotoxin occurrence in the final meal is high. In order to evaluate the safety of these ingredients, 586 mycotoxicological determinations of aflatoxins, fumonisins, ochratoxin, zearalenone and trichothecenes (deoxynivalenol and T2) from different Brazilian regions were carried out in 2016 and 2017. Mycotoxins were determined by ELISA. The maximum concentration found, considering the three raw materials evaluated was 6.4 ppb (aflatoxins), 1.89 ppm (fumonisins), 3 ppb (ochratoxin), 1.54 ppm (zearalenone), 5.56 ppm (deoxynivalenol) and 145 ppb (T2 toxin). The detection limits were, respectively 1 ppb, 0.2 ppm, 2 ppb, 20 ppb, 0.2 ppm and 10 ppb. The majority of the analyzed samples were either below the detection limit (39.4%) or maximum tolerable limit (54.8%), while only 5.8% exceeded this limit.
