Summary: Resumo: O estudo apresenta uma análise sobre sustentabilidade dos estados brasileiros em dois anos distintos, 2000 e 2010, utilizando os indicadores de desenvolvimento ambiental, econômico e social disponibilizados pelo SIDRA/IBGE. O indicador ambiental foi utilizado como principal descritor, permitindo identificar os estados brasileiros mais sustentáveis e, consequentemente, oferecer alternativas sobre o tema. Abstract: The study presents an analysis of the sustainability of the Brazilian states in two distinct years, 2000 and 2010, using the indicators of sustainable development: environmental, economic and social, made available by SIDRA / IBGE. The environmental indicator was used as the main descriptor, allowing to identify the most sustainable Brazilian states and consequently offer alternatives on the theme.
