Summary: The objective of this study was to evaluate nonlinear statistical models to predict eucalyptus taper in a crop-livestock-forest integration system (ICLF). The data were obtained in an experimental area of ICLF implanted by the Brazilian company of Agricultural Research (EMBRAPA- Agrosilvipastoral) located in the city of Sinop, state of Mato Grosso. To reach the proposed objectives, trees of four treatments were measured, making a total of 186 cubed trees at 51 months of age. The non-segmented, segmented and variably shaped taper functions were used to study the shape of the stem, with adjustments in the different treatments performed by the interactive method using the Gauss-Newton algorithm and its precision evaluated based on statistical indicators and analysis graph of waste. The equations of Garay, Schöpfer, Max and Burkhart, Bi and Perez are suitable for estimation of eucalyptus taper in ICLF. The equations of variable form present great potential of use for modeling the eucalyptus taper in ICLF, since it generates more precise estimates when compared to the non-segmented and segmented models.
