Summary: The aim of this study was to analyze whole-genome re-sequencing data focusing on SNVs and InDels identified in Gir, Girolando and Holstein cattle breeds related to RFI. Thus, genes showing SNVs/InDels in TF binding sites (5' UTR variants) were used to search for TF related to feed intake and to generate a gene-TF network for RFI across two purebred and one admixed dairy cattle breeds. Moreover, we were able to perform a comparative analysis accessing similarities and dissimilarities at the genomic level across these breeds.
