Summary: O objetivo do presente trabalho foi avaliar a qualidade do couro bovino de Curraleiro Pé-Duro (CPD), Nelore (NEL) e de mestiços F1 (½ CPD + ½ NEL). As peles foram obtidas de animais criados em pastagens nativas em bioma de transição de Cerrado e Caatinga no campo experimental da Embrapa Meio-Norte em Campo Maior, Piauí.
