Summary: In this study, we identified viruses present in different garlic cultivars from the germplasm collection of EMBRAPA Hortaliças, Brazil. The majority of the viruses found in these samples were previously reported, except for a new virus putatively classified as a member of new genus in the family Betaflexiviridae (order Tymovirales).
