O híbrido TSKC x CTCM-008 induziu a menor altura. | Abstract: The aim of this work was to evaluate vegetative growth of tangerine ‘Ponkan’ grafted on citrus rootstocks in the county of Sinop, MT. The experiment was installed in February 2017, at experimental area at Mato-Grossense Research, Technical Assistance and Rural Extension Company (Empaer-MT). The experimental design was a randomized block with 16 treatments, 4 replications and 5 plants in the plot. The treatments were rootstocks generated and/ or introduced by Embrapa, named and coded as follows: ‘Cravo Santa Cruz’ (LCRSC), Cravo lemon tree, ‘Cravo CNPMF-003’ (LCR-003), citrumelo ‘Swingle’ (CTSW), ‘Sunki Tropical’ tangerine (TSKTR), citrandarin ‘San Diego’ (CTRSD), citrandarin ‘Indio’ (CTRI), TSKC x CTCM-008, LVK x LCR-038, HTR-051, HTR-069, HTR-208, TSKC x (LCR x TR)-040, TSKC x (LCR x TR)-059, LCR x TR-001 and LCR x TR-073. Spacing was 6,0 x 2,0 m, with 833 plants per hectare. The variables evaluated were plant height, rootstock and graft trunk diameter, rootstock/graft compatibility ratio, crown diameter and volume and vegetative vigor index (IVV). With the exception of LCRSC, the highest canopy volumes and IVV were observed in plants on commercial rootstocks, while HTR-069 was lower. TSKC x CTCM-008 induced the lowest height.
