Summary: ABSTRACT: Increasing economic interest in feijoa, native to southern Brazil and northern Uruguay, has triggered the need for further studies of the crop. Despite its good suitability and promising production potential, it has been less grown in both countries than in others where it was introduced. Therefore, this study aimed at evaluating growth and production parameters of four Brazilian feijoa cultivars and six seedling grown feijoa trees in an organic system at the Embrapa - Estação Experimental da Cascata, in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul (RS), Brazil. The evaluation comprised four named feijoa cultivars (SCS 414 - Mattos, SCS 412 - Helena, SCS 415 - Nonante and SCS 411 - Alcântara) and six seedling grown feijoa trees (GS 1, GS 2, GS 4, GS 9, GS AP and GS BJ) that belong to the collection between 2017 and 2023. The following variables were analyzed: plant growth, fruit production and fruit quality. Helena exhibited the best results and adaptation to the study area. Seedling grown feijoa trees exhibited better plant growth than cultivars. Growing feijoa in an organic system in Pelotas, RS is promising since plants exhibit good adaptation and fruit production.
