Summary: A BRS Sertaneja é uma cultivar precoce, de grãos longo-finos, caracterizada por plantas vigorosas, moderadamente perfilhadoras, porte médio, folhas largas, e com mediana resistência ao acamamento. Suas panículas são longas e com elevado número de espiguetas. É uma cultivar de ampla adaptação, com bom comportamento nos Estados de Minas Gerais, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Rondônia, Pará, Roraima, Maranhão, Piauí e Tocantins.
