Summary: A Embrapa Amazônia Ocidental possui 7,5 hectares de plantios para teste das espécies Acacia mangium, Acacia auriculiformis, Sclerobium paniculatum (taxi-branco) e Bambusa vulgaris var. vitatta (bambu), que, em experimentos preliminares, mostram-se promissoras para produção de energia.
