Summary: This is the first report of the natural infestation of fruits of Pereska aculeata Mill. (Cactaceae) by the Mediterranean fruit f1y Ceratilis capitala (Wiedemann) (Diptera: Tephritidae) in Brazil. We also obtained specimens of Anaslrepha barbiellinii Lima (Tephritidae) and Neosilba sp. (Lonchaeidae), and of the parasitoid Doryctobracon areolatus (Szépligeti) (Hymenoptera: Braconidae).
