Summary: Visual evaluation of live beef cattle have been largely used to identify more adequate animals for meat production and, in Brazil, even as selection criteria in breeding programs. However, the relationship of these evaluations with feed efficiency traits in feedlot are unknown. The objective of this work was to evaluate phenotypic correlations of visual scores of conformation (C), precocity (P) and muscularity (M) with feedlot performance.
