Summary: In this paper, a discrete mathematical model inspired by control mechanisms is used to explore the factors potentially responsible for maximum immunization capacity in mammals. The results have been discussed in light of recent work, and refer to the adoption of parameter values chosen among data gathered from the literature. The model used in this study took into consideration that the immune system is a network of molecules and cells that can recognize itself.
