This is a pink-colored pulp table cassava cultivar that has a high level of lycopene - a substance with important antioxidant properties - in its roots. In the Brazilian Federal District and surroundings, the cultivar yields up to 60 tons per hectare. Due to its precocity, the cultivar should preferably be harvested eight to twelve months after planting. The cultivar should preferably be planted on beds to facilitate harvesting since it tends to have vertical roots. It has a reduced cooking time and the root mass, when cooked, has a floury texture, unique taste and no fibers, which are positive culinary qualities. Besides, the cultivar offers moderate resistance to bacteriosis and is suitable for medium to high fertility soils.
