BRS 2558XTD is a transgenic (GM), "Xtend”-type soybean cultivar that is tolerant to the herbicides dicamba and glyphosate, which facilitates weed control. It is recommended for Macroregion 1 (REC 103), which corresponds to part of the soybean-producing regions in the states of Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil.

The cultivar BRS 2558XTD is an early soybean cultivar that allows o plantio antecipado, and hence can be potentially inserted in rotation/succession system with other crops. In addition, it offers stable yield, undetermined type of growth, and maturity group 5.8 for the recommended macroregion. It shows resistance to the main soybean diseases, especially Phytophthora root rot. Edaphoclimatic regions of adaptation: REC 103 – Rio Grande do Sul (Serra do Nordeste, Planalto Superior); Paraná (Center-South). Some agronomic characteristics may vary depending on the year, the region, the level of soil fertility and the sowing time. Consult an Agronomic Engineer.
