It is a comprehensive and multidisciplinary agricultural management system with technical information for all stages of cassava cultivation in the semiarid region (Manihot esculenta. Crantz). It discusses how to obtain cuttings for planting, soil preparation, cultural practices, pest and disease control, harvesting and post-harvesting of cassava for cooked consumption and the processing of wild cassava to produce flour or starch. Soil and natural resource conservation practices have been widely studied to reduce environmental impacts in the different stages of cultivation, especially in planting and harvesting, when the soil is turned over during the rainy season, being exposed to erosion processes that can cause damage that is difficult to reverse.
