Brazil is the largest producer of passion fruit, but despite its prominent position, the useful life of the orchard has been reduced, mainly due to damage caused by diseases of the root system, fusariosis. Grafting using native species, resistant to this soil disease, is presented as a production alternative. With this, the objective was to obtain rootstock of a native species of Passiflora with resistance to fusariosis for the canopy of a passion fruit cultivar adapted for the producing regions
