On Wednesday, January 18th, at the Brazilian embassy in Berlin, Germany, the Brazilian Minister of Agriculture Blairo Maggi is going to launch the book "Soybean and Bees", authored by the researcher Décio Gazzoni, from Embrapa Soybeans. The launch is one of the minister's activities during the 9th Agriculture Ministers´ Conference of the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA), in Berlin. The conference is held yearly in January during the International Green Week. The book, whose first edition is published in English, was a demand from the Ministry's Secretariat of Agricultural Defense and it will be distributed to foreign audiences. It comprises an extensive bibliographical review of the relationship between soybean plants and several bee species, and it is an activity from a research project that has been studying the relationship between bees and soybean productivity.
