Summary: O fungo Cladosporium spp. tem capacidade de colonizar diversos substratos e causar doenças em seres humanos, animais e vegetais. Nestes últimos, é considerado patógeno de pós-colheita, principalmente em grãos. Também pode ser importante em folhas de culturas como tomateiro, causando lesões com clorose intensa (Lopes; Ávila, 2005).
