Summary: The high consumption of water by livestock is a major drawback from an environmental point of view. In addition, the fact that arid or semi-arid areas have water with high salinity can decrease the quality of the products derived from these animals. Therefore, the present work is proposed with the objective of understanding how the supply of water with different salinities can affect the quality of milk. Therefore, the results of this work will derive important conclusions of vital importance for farmers in these areas.
