The Environmental Impact Assessment System for Agricultural Innovation Technologies (Ambitec-Agro) consists of a set of multicriteria matrices that integrate technological innovation performance indicators and management practices adopted in rural activities. Seven essential aspects of evaluation are considered: Use of Inputs and Resources; Environmental Quality; Respect for the Consumer; Jobs; Income; Health; and Management/Administration. The criteria and indicators are built in weighting matrices, in which field data obtained alongside farmers/establishment administrators are automatically transformed into graphically-expressed impact indicators.
