It is a cream-fleshed colour sweet cassava cultivar, with a beta-carotene content of around 4 ppm, with good yield and organoleptic qualities. It is recommended for the Recôncavo Baiano and Tabuleiros Costeiros, which have annual rainfall of around 1,200mm, concentrated from April to August, an average annual temperature of 24 ºC and relative air humidity of around 80%. The predominant soils are of the yellow latosol type. It is recommended for harvests between 8 and 13 months after planting. Using irrigation and fertilization, harvest can be done earlier, from six months after planting.
