The soybean cultivar BRS 8480 has high yield potential with stability. It belongs to the relative maturity group 8.4. It presents type of determined growth, black flower of purple color, hilo, resistance to the acamamento and average cycle of 110 the 130 days. It offers resistance to frog-eye leaf spot, bacterial pustule and stem canker, and moderate resistance to bacterial blight and the nematode M. javanica. BRS 8480 is recommended for the following Brazilian states and respective soil and climate regions: BA-405; DF-304; GO-301; GO-304; ME - THE 501; MG-304; MT-401; MT-402; TO - 501.
