The soybean cultivar BRS 8280RR has high yield potential with stability and allows for off-season cropping in Mato Grosso. It belongs to the relative maturity group 8.1. It has determined type of growth, white flowers with medium brown hila, moderate resistance to lodging and average cycle of 107 to 136 days. It offers resistance to frog-eye leaf spot, bacterial pustule, stem canker, bacterial blight, stem necrosis virus and to the nematode M. javanica, and moderate resistance to powdery mildew and to the nematode M.incognita. BRS 8180RR is recommended for the following Brazilian states and respective soil and climate regions: GO-301, GO-302, GO-303, GO-304, GO-305, GO-401, GO-404; DF-304; MT-401, MT-402, MT-403; MG-302, MG-303, MG-304 and BA-405.
