BRS 404 is an alternative for the cultivation of upland wheat in the Cerrado. It presents early cycle, commercial bread class and stability in flour production. BRS 404 was the first cultivar to present the highest tolerance to wheat bleast. It is adapted to region IV of cultivation trials, which covers the Brazilian states DF, GO and MG. The BRS 404 has a yield potential of 40 bags/ha and was developed for cultivation in dry areas, with altitudes equal to or greater than 800 meters.
