The tool provides, with mobile and friendly interface, real-time information, collected by an Automatic weather station (AWS) installed in 2009, in the Meteorological Station of Embrapa Temperate Climate headquarters (Pelotas, RS). The software also displays graphs that visually illustrate weather data such as temperature, relative humidity, air density, thermal sensation (wind-chill/heat index) dew point, solar radiation, atmospheric pressure and wind direction, for example — totaling 17 meteorological variables. It also provides monthly summaries, since January 2009, of the main daily data registered, as well as the weekly reports, since 2011, of the chilling index (number of hours below 7,2°C), from May to September, in three physical bases of Embrapa Temperate Climate agricultural research center (Headquarters, Cascade and Lowlands Experimental Station).
