BRS 7481 is a conventional early soybean cultivar for the indicated region, with undetermined type of growth, erect size, and resistance to lodging. It is resistant to two gall-forming nematodes (Meloidogyne incognita and Meloidogyne javanica). Due to its high yield potential and to the traits of resistance to gall nematodes and early cycle, it can be used in production systems with crop successions in regions where soils present a history of problems with these nematodes, helping to increase the sustainability of the agricultural production system. Because it is conventional, it can be sold at premium prices in the “Free Soybean” markets. It is an excellent option that provides security and sustainability to farmers in the Cerrado region.
