Embrapa and partners provide the bean cultivar BRS FC 406 of the carioca group. This is a cultivar of high productivity, directed to the harvest and off-season of the Central region of Brazil. The BRS FC 406 is of normal cycle, 85 days, has grains with excellent sieve and presents moderate resistance to the main leaf diseases that impact the bean culture: anthracnose and angular spot.
