Trap trees are a technology used for early detection of attacks by wood wasps, one of the main pests in Brazilian pine plantations. Early detection of these pests makes prompt use of control measures possible, to prevent economic losses.

This technological solution was developed by Embrapa in partnership with other institution(s).
