Sis-ILPF Benthamii is a precision forestry software built with algorithms based on modeling to simulate and estimate growth and production of Eucalyptus benthamii in systems that integrate crops, livestock, and forests. It generates tables and graphs of prognoses for growth and production of these trees from plantation inventory data. It is used to plan thinnings (partial harvests that remove selected rows and/or trees) from planted forests. The program makes it possible to simulate how the eucalyptus plantation will grow and produce according to the management regimes selected by the user, and also calculates the carbon captured by the trees. Sis-ILPF Benthamii generates wood assortment tables by industrial use classes such as laminates, sawmilling, and energy, primarily as a function of the log diameters and lengths indicated by the user. The results of these simulations can be used to guide rural producers with appropriate technologies for forest management and planning, providing information that can optimize production and increase income. Besides serving rural producers who can use it independently or through technical support, Sis-ILPF Benthamii assists in implementing activities to encourage forest planting by organizations such as rural technical assistance companies, environmental institutes, cooperatives, municipal departments, trade unions and associations, and is also used in teaching, research, and extension activities by universities and technology centers.
