BRS 369 RF is a transgenic (GM) cultivar with resistance to the herbicide glyphosate, early-medium cycle and low height, and low growth-regulator requirement. It is recommended for second cropping in the Brazilian states of Goiás, Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, and as a first crop in Bahia. Its yield potential ranges between 3,900 and 4,500 kg/ha, with 40.5% fiber yield. It is resistant to common mosaic and bacteriosis, and moderately resistant to cotton blue disease and boll rot. It is recommended to be sown in refuge areas where transgenic (GM) caterpillar-resistant cotton is grown.
