Responses of humid tropical forests to logging: new perspectives for forest management in the Amazon
The GUIAMAFLOR project includes French (Guyana and Montpellier) and Brazilian (Manaus and Macapá) research partners. In the greatest part of the Brazilian Amazon, family farming is practiced with the system of forest slash and burn.
