The international OTAG Project aimed at enhancing innovative, economically viable geotechnologies, methods and mechanisms which are capable of registering animal (beef cattle) origin and production data with precision and accuracy. Embrapa Satellite Monitoring coordinated Embrapa's activities in this project. One of its main objectives was to adapt and optimize the available geospatial technology with the aim of improving the quality of the products and management practices in the beef cattle
