Mato Grosso state has great potential for fruit production, considering the edaphoclimatic aspects of the region, domestic demand and the significant number of small farms. This project aims to establish a process for continued training of technicians aimed at promoting the development of fruit production in the state of Mato Grosso.

The objective is to establish a pilot network project for the production and distribution of manivas-cassava seed, with genetic and phytosanitary quality, to serve beneficiary families of the "Brazil Without Misery Plan" and to promote the increase of the supply of cassava to the Self-consumption of these families.
