The Plant Development and Reproduction research group aims to understand the main steps of plant reproduction, sporogenesis, gametogenesis and seed development; unveil their regulation mechanisms; develop methodologies for clonal propagation; generate new genotypes through genetic engineering; and modify plant metabolism .
