Relations with representative entities
Dialogue and establishment of partnerships with the production sector happen through participation in discussion forums, in which Embrapa talks to representatives of several links from different production chains and takes part in working groups, commissions and committees.
Lines of action and interlocution channels:
- Proposing public policies and regulatory frameworks
- Observatory of the sector's demands
- Private Funds
Public policies, and government programs and plans
Over the past ten years, Embrapa has provided technical information that has contributed for the formulation of public policies, government plans and programs. Scientists must be encouraged to participate and contribute to the process of elaborating and improving public policies, which will ensure that the value of their work is perceived by society and by political actors and managers. It is up to science to approach the political-institutional environment and present its contributions, as the relationship between Science and Public Policies will grow inseparable.
