She was Deputy Head of Research and Development at Embrapa Digital Agriculture from September 2021 to March 2024. She holds a bachelor's degree in Computing from University of Brasilia (1988), a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (1997) and a PhD in Computer Science (2009), both from University of Campinas and an MBA in Management with emphasis on Leadership and Innovation from Getúlio Vargas Foundation (2024). She has experience in Computer Science, with emphasis on Database and Software Engineering, working mainly on the following topics: geographic data integration, metadata, Research Data Management and eScience. She has been a researcher at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation since 1989, currently working on Research Data Management and Digital Inclusion of Rural Women, and she is also the coordinator of the GO FAIR Agro Brasil Thematic Network. She is a lecturer on the Postgraduate course at the Polytechnic School of the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas, teaching the subjects: Sustainability in Digital Agriculture, Digital Technologies and Platforms in Agriculture, Big Data and Data Science in Digital Agriculture and Introduction to Spatial Analysis using QGIS and applications in Agriculture. In 2008 she received the Brazil Women in Technology award from Google Inc.
