Graduated in Biochemical and Industrial Pharmacy at Federal University of Paraná with expertise in Applied Microbiology. Had a master's and doctorate in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Federal University of Paraná. Has experience in Microbiology and Fermentation Technology, working mainly on the following topics: quantification of microbial metabolites; biological control of phytopathogens using yeast as an antagonistic agent; characterization and selection of yeasts for winemaking processes; taxonomic identification of yeasts by molecular biology and mass spectrometry; probiotic potential of yeast strains. Currently works in the RD area of Embrapa Grape and Wine
