Brasília is home to Embrapa's headquarters, which is responsible for planning, supervising, coordinating and monitoring activities related to the implementation of agricultural research and the formulation of agricultural policies. This work is carried out by 17 administrative units, also called central units that support the Corporation's Executive Board.
