Mini-curriculum

Graduated in Forestry engineering by the College of Agriculture Luiz de Queiroz - USP (1978), master's degree in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition at Federal University of Viçosa - (UFV; 1988) and Doctorate in the Tropical Agriculture at George August University of Goettingen, Germany (1999). Professor of the doctoral course in Agricultural Sciences from the Federal Rural University of Amazonia (UFRA; 2000 to 2013), and is currently collaborator of the M.Sc. course of Environmental Sciences, at Federal University of Pará (UFPA). Researcher at Embrapa Amazônia Oriental since 1979 and has experience in the Brazilian Amazon with emphasis on the following themes: land reclamation, forest plantations, agroforestry and family farming.
