Mini-curriculum

Graduated in Agronomic Engineering from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Pará (1986), master's degree in Statistics from the University of São Paulo (1997) and doctorate in Socio-environmental Development from the Center for High Amazon Studies at the Federal University of Pará - NAEA / UFPA (2010) . He is currently a researcher at Embrapa Amapá. He has worked in Research and Development as coordinator of several projects and as public manager of Scientific, Technological and Promotion Entities. In Statistics, he has worked in applied statistical tools and in the analysis of experimental statistics. In the areas of Economics, he has worked in endogenous regional development projects using the Insumo-Product matrix. In Amazonian matters, he has developed activities with different approaches aimed at the well-being of the Amazon and the conservation of natural resources. Winner of awards for research and innovation and disseminate proposals that it is necessary and possible to develop the Amazon through sustainable production.
